Our barcodes are accepted in 99.99% of retailers worldwide. However, a few companies in a limited number of countries impose restrictions on which barcodes they will accept. Please check the following list to see which countries have restrictions.

Note – This list is as up to date as possible, and any restrictions we hear of are added quickly. However, individual company policies are subject to change without notice. There are millions of stores worldwide, which all have a right to choose their own barcoding policy (whether or not it makes sense). Therefore we cannot guarantee that this list will always be accurate. Please check with your individual retailer(s) if you are unsure of their barcoding policy.

Please click on the countries with restrictions to see exactly what these are.

Many of our client’s products are listed on Amazon.
Our barcodes can work on Amazon, but Amazon prefers GS1.

Amazon is increasingly pro-GS1. Amazon is on the board of GS1. Our clients list as unbranded (generic brand). If you wish to list on Amazon as a brand, you must supply your trademark and get your barcodes from GS1.

If you plan to sell your products in Shoprite/Checkers/Usave/OK Furniture/House & Home, please talk to them before purchasing barcode numbers – they might force you to join GS1, which is unfortunately very expensive for you and for the retail customer.
